Half rap EP, half History lesson, An Obscure Narrative is a deep, expressive recording, covering dark segments of our history and the workings of the human mind.
Supreme Sol adds: All of the content talked about on this album has to do with making people more aware of historical events that have vanished in the shadows of obscurity. I didn't write any of this to offend anyone, but to convey my perspective eloquently and to spark conversation. I want the people to take information from it and grow off of it. I also want to make it clear that I am not trying to force my perspective on the listener. PEACE
The duo resides in Arlington, Texas. Skrewie, who is a visual artist at heart paints pictures by spilling his guts on verses. Meanwhile, Ignite Da Mic gives hope, with the vehicle of music to proclaim the gospel truth of Lord Jesus Christ. All this is seasoned with an unorthodox style that does not necessarily fit the traditional mould of today's Southern emcees.
With the boldness to speak that which most would consider conspiracy, they bring the subject matter to listeners to open eyes and hopefully eventually change hearts.
"Medicinal Sounds" is audio relief from the present age's hurts and ailments. We know that listeners can rest assured they are receiving a prescription in every beat, bar, verse and chorus.
